ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.– January 28, 2026 – Effective today, the National Pickleball League (NPL) is becoming Champions Series Pickleball (CSP). This rebranding reflects our expansion into both professional leagues and a premier tournament series designed exclusively for players in the 40+, 50+, and 60+ age divisions.
Given the accomplishments of our player community—both on and off the court—there is no better name to mark the launch of our new era. Our players are champion athletes and proven leaders who have built remarkable careers and made meaningful impact beyond the field of play.
The caliber of people within CSP is humbling. As awe-inspiring as the talent is on the court, the quality of the individual is even greater.
In our new logo, you’ll notice a clear homage to our roots. We’ve preserved elements of the original NPL identity, including the pickleball icon and a similar font style. While our brand is evolving, our respect for where we came from—and the foundation we’ve built—remains unchanged.

The rebrand to Champions Series Pickleball is a smart move. Focusing on the 40+, 50+, and 60+ age divisions fills a real gap in the sport, as most professional pickleball leagues cater to younger players. The name "Champions Series" better reflects the caliber and life experience of the players it serves. It is great to see a league that celebrates the idea that age should never be a barrier to competitive play. --recordly
You are quite gifted as a writer Skribbl IO. I read every word of your piece since it was so engaging.
The National Pickleball League’s rebrand to Champions Series Pickleball (CSP) is a smart move that elevates the sport’s profile and positions it for broader recognition. By shifting to a name that emphasizes competition and prestige, the league signals growth and ambition, which can attract more fans, sponsors, and players. It’s a positive step toward making pickleball a mainstream sport. Much like the focus required in Slope game, success here depends on balance—between tradition and innovation, community and professionalism.
Exciting news! The rebrand from NPL to Champions Series Pickleball (CSP) marks a bold new chapter for professional senior pickleball. Love the focus on the 40+, 50+, and 60+ age divisions – proving that champions never age out! Looking forward to seeing how CSP elevates the sport and creates even more competitive opportunities for experienced players. Here's to the next level!
